The Aid to the Blind - Remedial Program is a state financed program to meet treatment needs of individuals who are in danger of losing their vision or require restorative eye services. This program is designed for short duration and not intended as a maintenance program. It is a resource for persons over age 21 and under age 65 who cannot qualify for the Medicaid Program. Income and asset levels are the same as Non-ACA Medicaid. Prior approval is required before receiving recommended treatment unless it is an emergency.
